Thompson Family Vacation: Destin, Florida

We arrived home last Saturday from our week long trip with Josh's family in Destin, Florida.  Let's just say that I LOVE THE BEACH!!  I could easily live there if all of my family would come along too.  ;)  It was so incredible to see Josh's sister and family from California that we rarely get to see, and so fun to spend so much time with everyone.  We mostly went to the beach and swam.  And ate.  Oh man did we eat.  Sounds like the perfect vacay, right??  ;) 

On the last night, we ran out to the beach in front of our house and snagged a few family pictures.  So glad we did!  We will treasure these forever. 

Baby Don

Before our vacation, I headed over to the Matthews house to meet their sweet new addition.  He was so cuddly, and I was in love!  I think his big brother and sisters are pretty smitten too.  Welcome to the world, Baby Don!

The Hendersteds

So last week when I was at the beach, I just happened to run into my BFF and her family.  What a coincidence!  ;)  But really, it was so awesome being down there at the same time and I had so much fun meeting up with them for pictures.  I have been SO BLESSED with Heather's friendship these last couple of years.  Getting to know her family better is just an added bonus.  They are beautiful inside and out!  And Ross and Derek are only like the best girl dads in the entire world.  ;)  Here are some of my faves!
